In the 15th match minute, Ytterby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Alebäck to maneuver through the defense. Erling Ek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ronaldinho De Assis Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sylwester Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ytterby defense, Evert Haegg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Brak. The Ytterby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Brak should have stopped the shot. Edsbyns IF's Evert Haegg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Edsbyns IF booed when Ytterby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Dalkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Haegg to strike the kick off in the second half. Ytterby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Evert Haegg scored to the left of an out of position Sylwester Brak, making the score, 0-3. Filip Liljeström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sylwester Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ytterby made a substitution. Jakob Ebbesen replaced Alex Alebäck.
