After a rather tough play, Husqvarna FK's Göran Edström got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Andreas Jansson fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hudiksvall FF's protests and gave Andreas Jansson a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Staffan Berglund in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaf Wallman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Magnus Hultstrand could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Hans Fogel however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Husqvarna FK's Hans Fogel got control of the ball when Andreas Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Husqvarna FK defense, Andreas Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Fogel. The Husqvarna FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Fogel should have stopped the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Myr was the one to do the kick off.
