Linghed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gevalia Coffeetigers the free kick. After 8 played minutes Linghed got a freekick which was hit by Rune Pihl. Gevalia Coffeetigers's Filiph Hellsing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Gevalia Coffeetigers from getting a goal against them. Filiph Hellsing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Holmgren in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gevalia Coffeetigers's Vidar Pedersson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Ingvar Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linghed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Hormaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Dytrych, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Linghed getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sven Vedholm hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Wilhelm Billvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Hellsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Hormaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Viberg in the 35th minute of the match. Filiph Hellsing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Peter Hormaza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Viberg's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Vedholm in the 42nd minute of play forced Gevalia Coffeetigers's goalkeeper Filiph Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Hellsing having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Vidar Pedersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gevalia Coffeetigers and the Linghed players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Gevalia Coffeetigers got a freekick which was hit by Vidar Pedersson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grzegorz Dytrych to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ingvar Holmgren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gevalia Coffeetigers's Filiph Hellsing. Filiph Hellsing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Hellsing having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Gevalia Coffeetigers got a freekick which was hit by Vidar Pedersson. After a rather tough play, Gevalia Coffeetigers's Vidar Pedersson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Gevalia Coffeetigers's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Holmgren came free, but Filiph Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Linghed's goalkeeper Peter Hormaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olov Myr. A collision led to Gevalia Coffeetigers getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dag Larsfelt hit a great ball. Linghed's Konrad Olsson was substituted for Rune Pihl. In the 87th minute, Dag Larsfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Linghed getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Karl-Michael Gerdberg hit a great ball. Henry Botvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Linghed had played much better football throughout.
