With a little luck, Umeå FC's Olov Boström got control of the ball when Andreas Åhlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Björnlunda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Åhlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Åhlberg got free with Olov Boström in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Åhlberg took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Boström. Olov Boström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edvard Hellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Simon Wennersten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björnlunda IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Umeå FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Björnlunda IF got a freekick which was hit by Simon Wennersten. Umeå FC's Juan Fågel got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Umeå FC's goalkeeper Olov Boström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Åhlberg. In the 95th minute, Andreas Åhlberg made a precise shot to the right of Olov Boström. Umeå FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
