The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manole Coraș kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Manole Coraș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göran Holmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Göran Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Gallin in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Niclas Burman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Larsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Manole Coraș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Löv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kjell Löv came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC ARDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Löv couldn't finish the play. FC ARDA's Jan Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Burman in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Michel Arenstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Niclas Burman sped through FC ARDA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Larsson. Michel Arenstedt's late challenge caught a FC ARDA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Arenstedt helped the player get up and apologised. After 34th play minutes Manole Coraș shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Göran Holmgren and just under the crossbar into goal. Michel Arenstedt was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The wind increased when Osvald Skålberg made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FC ARDA got a freekick which was hit by Manole Coraș. In the 56th minute Jason Nys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amirul Singh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Göran Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Romakloster IFK's Sören Trillkott got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Osvald Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ARDA's goalkeeper Jan Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Romakloster IFK's Sören Trillkott got a free kick in the 69th minute. FC ARDA's Jan Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Skålberg in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Osvald Skålberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan Larsson, passed just outside the right post. After 76 minutes of play, FC ARDA's Manole Coraș made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göran Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Osvald Skålberg hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Jason Nys notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Romakloster IFK's Göran Holmgren. Göran Holmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, FC ARDA's Manole Coraș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. FC ARDA made a substitution. Karl-Erik Berggren replaced Kjell Löv. In the 89th minute, Osvald Skålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. Göran Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Coraș, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Karl-Erik Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, FC ARDA's Manole Coraș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göran Holmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC ARDA had played much better football throughout.
