The audience was convinced that Per-Erik Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Olsson was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Gyllne Hammarn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ålem RK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gyllne Hammarn FC's Gösta Björling got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Ålem RK defense, Per-Erik Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joakim Olsson. The Ålem RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Olsson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Hansson in the 32nd minute of play forced Ålem RK's goalkeeper Joakim Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Per-Erik Hansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joakim Olsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37th match minute, Ålem RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. Gyllne Hammarn FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
