Ture Snell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ture Snell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magnus Grelsson went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, Göta FC's Sebastian Qvarnström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 36 played minutes Glommen United got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Wennerquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Sjögren in the 38th minute of play forced Glommen United's goalkeeper Ture Snell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Magnus Grelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esbjörn Wennerquist to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sebastian Qvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Joachim Sjögren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ture Snell, 0-9. After a rather tough play, Glommen United's Klas Asklund got a free kick in the 57th minute. A hard shot by Alf Dahlman from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Ture Snell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 65 minutes into the match, Herman Wallengren notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Glommen United's Ture Snell. Ture Snell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Dahlman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Esbjörn Wennerquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damazy Chwalkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esbjörn Wennerquist ran back to his position shaking his head. When Klas Asklund fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glommen United's protests and gave Klas Asklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Glommen United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Asklund to maneuver through the defense. Ture Snell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Dahlman in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Glommen United got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Lindström. A hard shot by Alf Dahlman from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Ture Snell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ture Snell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Sjögren in the 74th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Sebastian Qvarnström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Göta FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
