After a defensive mix-up in Sölvesborgs IF's zone, Henry Smedfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Bryngelsson came out of the goal and Henry Smedfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Berga BK's Stig Klint slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdemar Bryngelsson. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. Valdemar Bryngelsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Berg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. When Stig Klint came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Berga BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Klint couldn't finish the play. Sölvesborgs IF were furious when Vilhelm Kellberg was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute, one of Sölvesborgs IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sölvesborgs IF. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig Klint was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Henry Smedfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berga BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Smedfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sölvesborgs IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ove Berg was slow to take the kick. During this time Berga BK's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sölvesborgs IF's goalie and right to Henry Smedfeldt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sölvesborgs IF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 57 minutes, Rickard Berg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sölvesborgs IF and the Berga BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 7-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Stig Klint elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Elof Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Smedfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Valdemar Bryngelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Stig Klint put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valdemar Bryngelsson. Alvar Andreasson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Henry Smedfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Valdemar Bryngelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Bryngelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Klint's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Alvar Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Smedfeldt took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Bryngelsson. Valdemar Bryngelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Valdemar Bryngelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Smedfeldt in the 91st minute of play. Henry Smedfeldt struck a weak shot in the 94th minute.
