FC Godis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Isaksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sverker Vallengren struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jörn Jernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Söderströms IF. Henry Soned was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Söderströms IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to FC Godis getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arvid Vennerdal hit a great ball. Sverker Vallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Jernberg having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Henry Soned got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Söderströms IF's Sverker Vallengren got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sverker Vallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jörn Jernberg made a huge save. Timmy Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmy Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Söderströms IF booed when FC Godis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörn Jernberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Söderströms IF's Sverker Vallengren. But to his dismay, Sverker Vallengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jörn Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Vallengren in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Sverker Vallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Godis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, FC Godis's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Soned came free, but Jörn Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Soned took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörn Jernberg. Jörn Jernberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 94thth minute of the game Sverker Vallengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Godis's Jörn Jernberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Soned in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörn Jernberg saved FC Godis from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Söderströms IF had played much better football throughout.
