Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Steffen Kullgren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Steffen Kullgren took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Utfal. Wictor Utfal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Västerås City's Fredrik Lundberg got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th play minute Steffen Kullgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wictor Utfal. 2-0. Wictor Utfal was a little too slow when Steffen Kullgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. Leif Fagerberg hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Stjärnblomster's Mikael Billström got a free kick in the 19th minute. Simon Billvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Gallin having to interfere. Philip Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Brandin in the 23rd minute of the match. Olof Lundqvist hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Wictor Utfal made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Steffen Kullgren sent off a good shot on target. Philip Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Brandin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Steffen Kullgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wictor Utfal. Steffen Kullgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Andréas Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Stjärnblomster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Kullgren to maneuver through the defense. Västerås City's Wictor Utfal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Kullgren in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Verner Brandin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Stjärnblomster's Mikael Billström got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Stjärnblomster's Philip Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Fagrell in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Steffen Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steffen Kullgren scored 5-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wictor Utfal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stjärnblomster's Tony Klint was substituted for Guto Alagoano. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Steffen Kullgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stjärnblomster's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Kullgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wictor Utfal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredrik Lundberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Fredrik Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Tobias Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Steffen Kullgren came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Stjärnblomster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffen Kullgren couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Västerås City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stjärnblomster.
