In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lilla Skania's goalkeeper Agne Johnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Kvillinge FF's Johnny Strömbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agne Johnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Rosin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agne Johnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Kvillinge FF's Luís Fernando do Vale got control of the ball when Flavius Encea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kvillinge FF booed when Lilla Skania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Utter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Johnny Strömbom made a precise shot to the right of Agne Johnsson. Lilla Skania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Encea in the 30th minute of play forced Kvillinge FF's goalkeeper Luís Fernando do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Lilla Skania:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kvillinge FF:s goal. Agne Johnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Rosin's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Michael Stabbe hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes, Kvillinge FF's Torgny Kvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agne Johnsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kvillinge FF reached it. Agne Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Strömbom in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Reine Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fredrik Rosin made the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Asplund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kvillinge FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When Flavius Encea came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Lilla Skania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Encea couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd match minute, Lilla Skania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. The Lilla Skania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agne Johnsson should have stopped the shot. Lilla Skania's David Åström was substituted for Anders Asplund. If Johannes Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Lilla Skania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Utter to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Rosin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agne Johnsson was a little too slow when Göran Eliasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-10. If Johannes Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fredrik Rosin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agne Johnsson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
