Claes Ekeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Pil in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rillys Bodega's Claes Ekeberg got control of the ball when Kim Jakobsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Rillys Bodega's Calle Pålsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Villiam Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Anthon Kjellman came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Arsenal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Kjellman couldn't finish the play. After 54 played minutes Rillys Bodega got a freekick which was hit by Anton Harlén. When Jan-Olof Holmberg fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rillys Bodega's protests and gave Jan-Olof Holmberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rillys Bodega getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jan-Olof Holmberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Göran Lidström got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Kim Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Ekeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rillys Bodega supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rillys Bodega would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
