The referee ignored Valskog IF's protests and gave Morgan Kollberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Valskog IF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Kollberg. Magne Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Forsberg in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valskog IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johannes Lundblad was slow to take the kick. During this time Portalens FK's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Stig-Ove Hjortberg advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 7th minute. Portalens FK's Simon Blumentritt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Portalens FK from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Elliott Lilja got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvin Sigman during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arvin Sigman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Torstensson in the 16th minute of play forced Portalens FK's goalkeeper Simon Blumentritt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Portalens FK got a freekick which was hit by Lars Bennet. In the 30th match minute, Valskog IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Valskog IF got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Kruuse. Magne Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Lundblad in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Valskog IF booed when Portalens FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Beckeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Blumentritt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paul Strömqvist. Magne Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Valentin Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Valskog IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Lundblad came free, but Magne Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Forsberg made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Portalens FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. Simon Blumentritt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Torstensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Stig-Ove Hjortberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lars Bennet's late challenge caught a Valskog IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Bennet helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Portalens FK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lars Bennet hit a great ball. Simon Blumentritt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Torstensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Portalens FK's Simon Telin got a free kick in the 77th minute. Elliott Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Blumentritt having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Elliott Lilja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valskog IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Lilja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Forsberg hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Simon Blumentritt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dick Vallmark went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Elliott Lilja made a precise shot to the right of Simon Blumentritt. Portalens FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Valskog IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
