Jens-Ove Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Sefastsson in the 18th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Festis BK's Edwin Björk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Hjeltman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jens-Ove Gallberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Albin Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 27 minutes, Ali Kurd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Festis BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Kurd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Festis BK's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Sefastsson came free, but Jens-Ove Gallberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Sandwall in the 40th minute of play. Sture Dahlberg hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Edwin Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Ali Kurd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sveg IFK's Kjell Hjeltman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Sandwall in the 54th minute of play forced Festis BK's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Gallberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Sveg IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Björk came free, but Kjell Hjeltman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Kurd in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Hjeltman saved Sveg IFK from getting behind. Fritz Stålman made a great header on Festis BK's corner, it was just that Sveg IFK's Kjell Hjeltman managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 62nd match minute, Sveg IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Ek to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Gallberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Sefastsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kjell Hjeltman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kurd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sveg IFK booed when Festis BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sveg IFK's Kjell Hjeltman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Kurd in the 72nd minute of play. Jens-Ove Gallberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Sefastsson in the 74th minute of the match. The Festis BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 91st minute, Albin Sandwall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ove Gallberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 96th minute Emil Sefastsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
