The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, one of Liden FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cornelio Quexal shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Elias Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Ahlfors in the 9th minute of play forced Liden FF's goalkeeper Elliott Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to jananan getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Per Brask hit a great ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by jananan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anders Hamnberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Liden FF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anders Hamnberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvin Berg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elliott Skarkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Jelm in the 35th minute of the match. jananan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Tage Kleen scored to the left of an out of position Alvin Berg, making the score, 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Ahlfors to make the kick off. Mats Ahlfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Ahlfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Elliott Skarkman made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Liden FF's Valter Lindgren got a free kick in the 58th minute. Elliott Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Jelm in the 63rd minute of play. Billy Jelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Skarkman having to interfere. Mats Ahlfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Elliott Skarkman made a huge save. Mats Ahlfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elliott Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Skarkman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Brask in the 73rd minute. Mats Ahlfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elliott Skarkman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Ahlfors ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goalkeeper Elliott Skarkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Ahlfors. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Hamnberg in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvin Berg saved jananan from getting behind. 82 minutes into the game, Mats Ahlfors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. jananan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liden FF the free kick. Mats Ahlfors hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Anders Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Per Brask came free, but Elliott Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Billy Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
