The referee showed Richard Uter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Christoffersson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Larsson in the 30th minute of play forced Klövsjö's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jens-Ove Ahlfors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Ahlbeck got free with Jens-Ove Ahlfors in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Ove Ahlfors was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pelle Bollström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 87 minute of play.
