The tension between the Blue Saints and the Racka FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roy Bröms hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Leo Bruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blue Saints's Ralf Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Hellbom in the 20th minute of play. Roland Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Kellberg got free with Ralf Rosen in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per-Åke Hellbom in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ralf Rosen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Olov Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Åke Hellbom to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Racka FF defense, Leo Bruse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Bergström. The Racka FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Bergström should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Klint during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Racka FF booed when Blue Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Klint didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Bröms, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Racka FF's Olov Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bruse in the 79th minute of play. Olov Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Svensson in the 82nd minute of play. If Leo Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racka FF's Olov Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Racka FF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Blue Saints getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ove Klint hit a great ball. Carl Erserman, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Racka FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blue Saints's performance. The match ended with a win for Blue Saints.
