Svante Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralf Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Petersson in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Saints's zone, Svante Petersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Rosen came out of the goal and Svante Petersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Tomas Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sakarias Ahlroth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Rosen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Håkan Viklund hit a great ball. Ralf Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Petersson in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Bruse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, one of Blue Saints:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blue Saints. The referee gave Bloodthirsty FC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Håkan Viklund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blue Saints's Ralf Rosen. 0-1. A collision led to Blue Saints getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Karl Östensson hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Blue Saints's goalkeeper Ralf Rosen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Lidström. In the 73rd match minute, Blue Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Engman to maneuver through the defense. If Svante Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Blue Saints booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Viklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Ahlroth. Bloodthirsty FC made a substitution. Elliott Bennet replaced Edvin Kullander. In the 84th minute, Sakarias Ahlroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Biörkquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Engman in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Olov Engman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olof Västerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Rosen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olof Västerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Bloodthirsty FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
