Svante Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Beckeman having to interfere. Ramón Reyes scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Beckeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Wallin's late challenge caught a ViHörs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Wallin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute Ramón Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hylian's Gustaf Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Axelsson in the 19th minute of play. Stig-Ove Axelsson scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Beckeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Stig-Ove Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViHörs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 30th match minute, ViHörs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Bock to maneuver through the defense. If Pim van der Velden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Reyes during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gustaf Beckeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Hylian got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Dalkvist. ViHörs's Håkan Alegren got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Reyes made a kick off. ViHörs's Ramón Reyes got his second yellow card of the match in the 50th minute. The referee ordered Ramón Reyes off the ground. In the 51st minute, Ramón Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Alegren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Vilhelm Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Strandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Hylian booed when ViHörs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hylian's zone, Svante Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Beckeman came out of the goal and Svante Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Hylian's Jonas Wallin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ale Poláček narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ale Poláček made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Wallin in the 85th minute of play. Ale Poláček took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerwin Scheerhoorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ale Poláček didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Wallin went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. ViHörs's Stig-Ove Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svante Ekström got free with Gustaf Beckeman in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ViHörs played a much better game than Hylian and deserved their victory. The Hylian players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
