Edmund Majman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Larsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. Pål Larsson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes, Chimpanserna FC's Sten Godholm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valentin Åkerberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chimpanserna FC reached it. After some careless play in the Chimpanserna FC defense, Alf Löfgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Majman. The Chimpanserna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Majman should have stopped the shot. Ytterby FF's Valentin Åkerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes Ytterby FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sten Godholm who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute Alf Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Majman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 29th minute of play forced Ytterby FF's goalkeeper Valentin Åkerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Gunnar Hellström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentin Åkerberg, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Chimpanserna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Löfgren came free, but Edmund Majman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ytterby FF's Valentin Åkerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Chimpanserna FC booed when Ytterby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Almkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Ytterby FF got a freekick which was hit by Alf Löfgren. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mats Almkvist made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nils-Emil Torsberg however managed to control. Edmund Majman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Ytterby FF's Alf Löfgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmund Majman. Edmund Majman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Löfgren in the 77th minute of play forced Chimpanserna FC's goalkeeper Edmund Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Majman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Hellström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Åkerberg having to make a save. After 85 played minutes Ytterby FF got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Hake. In the 87th minute Gunnar Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ytterby FF's Valentin Åkerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 90th minute of play. The Ytterby FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ytterby FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
