Amir Sianturi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edgar Palmquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal CF's Amir Sianturi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal CF from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Joacim Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Avesta's Olof Orre tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Arsenal CF's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Albu came free, but Amir Sianturi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amir Sianturi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Albu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Sabin Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amir Sianturi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Eklund having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Palmquist in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Radomil Kolacki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amir Sianturi. The goal made the score 2-0. When Sabin Albu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avesta's protests and gave Sabin Albu a yellow card for diving instead. Sabin Albu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jens-Ola Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Ferrando in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Joacim Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Arsenal CF getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Joacim Nordlund hit a great ball. 49 minutes into the match, Arsenal CF's goalkeeper Amir Sianturi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Orre.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Palmquist was the one to do the kick off. Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Damm in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Radomil Kolacki made a precise shot to the right of Amir Sianturi. Arsenal CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 62 minutes, Sven Kinell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avesta and the Arsenal CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Avesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Kinell to maneuver through the defense. When Gabriel Damm came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Arsenal CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Damm couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Avesta's zone, Gabriel Damm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Eklund came out of the goal and Gabriel Damm tried to chip the ball over his head. The supporters of Arsenal CF booed when Avesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Băcila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greger Bergqvist made a great header on Arsenal CF's corner, it was just that Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund managed to reach the ball for a save. Avesta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
