The corner ended in Tom Sundström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund did a great save. 7 minutes into the match, N38 Fotboll's Tom Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Ola Eklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tom Sundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ola Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Băcila in the 11th minute of play forced N38 Fotboll's goalkeeper Zebastian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of N38 Fotboll booed when Avesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Kolacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Avesta's Sabin Albu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zebastian Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Tom Sundström put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jens-Ola Eklund. The audience was convinced that Tom Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Eklund was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Sabin Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes N38 Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Tom Sundström. Zebastian Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Băcila in the 35th minute of the match. Jens-Ola Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Sundström in the 37th minute. Tom Sundström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jens-Ola Eklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, N38 Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recep Tayyip Akbel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Olof Orre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avesta's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Orre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Albom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Albu in the 45th minute of play forced N38 Fotboll's goalkeeper Zebastian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabin Albu made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Sundström in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Eklund saved Avesta from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Tom Sundström put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jens-Ola Eklund. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avesta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tom Sundström was slow to take the kick. During this time N38 Fotboll's players had a chance to rest. After 61 minutes, Sabin Albu made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. N38 Fotboll's Zebastian Albom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. George Dahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jens-Ola Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by N38 Fotboll's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olof Orre was slow to take the kick. During this time Avesta's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Avesta's corner Olof Orre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zebastian Albom quite easily take care of the ball. Tom Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, N38 Fotboll's Zebastian Albom got control of the ball when Gelu Băcila tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Sabin Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelu Băcila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Zebastian Albom made a huge save. In the 88th minute of the match Avesta got a corner. N38 Fotboll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olof Orre ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 94thth minute of the game Tom Sundström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The N38 Fotboll supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Avesta's performance. The match ended with a win for Avesta.
