The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Magnusson got free with Göran Lindberg in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Jonas Öberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of King Zack. Liverpool Spiceboys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Öberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. King Zack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Uno Bjurström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Uno Bjurström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. King Zack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Conny Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Zack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. King Zack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Fagersta were awarded a corner. Conny Uggla went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Liverpool Spiceboys's Johan Magnusson got a free kick in the 35th minute. King Zack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Uggla, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Uno Bjurström charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uno Bjurström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Liverpool Spiceboys booed when Fagersta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Bjurström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Fagersta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. Pål Lindqvist's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Göran Lindberg on his right side and into the goal. 47 minutes into the game it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With a little luck, Liverpool Spiceboys's King Zack got control of the ball when Uno Bjurström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fagersta's Göran Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Magnusson in the 62nd minute of play. Johannes Forsell kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With his leg King Zack managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Fagersta's Jonas Öberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonas Öberg struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. King Zack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fagersta. Wilhelm Ek in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of King Zack, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Forsell during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fagersta's Ulf Aleberg got a free kick in the 96th minute.
