Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmund Almkvist made the kick off which started today's match. Charles Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Koupepes in the 4th minute of the match. Ingmar Olofsson made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Peter Örtendal immediately put the ball in play. Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Örtendal in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Almkvist in the 20th minute of play forced Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charles Hughes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotiris Koupepes in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Librado Pamperin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Librado Pamperin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Åstäppa FK's Sven-Erik Lindman got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Koupepes. In the 36th minute of the match Wolverhampton got a corner. Åstäppa FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Librado Pamperin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Librado Pamperin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charles Hughes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Charles Hughes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotiris Koupepes in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Czajkowski was the one to do the kick off. Wolverhampton's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Librado Pamperin in the 52nd minute. Wolverhampton's 夏天 Naae was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charles Hughes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 52nd minute, 夏天 Naae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Hughes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Charles Hughes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Koupepes in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Sotiris Koupepes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Charles Hughes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Koupepes in the 61st minute of play forced Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolverhampton's Sotiris Koupepes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wolverhampton made a substitution. Kang Hong Zhan replaced Librado Pamperin. Sotiris Koupepes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Charles Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Kang Hong Zhan sped through Åstäppa FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Hughes. 81 minutes into the match, Åstäppa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Almkvist came free, but Charles Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Åstäppa FK's Ingmar Olofsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Koupepes in the 82nd minute of play forced Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joe Gort during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wolverhampton's Freddy Hernandez was substituted for Sotiris Koupepes. A collision led to Åstäppa FK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Joe Gort hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Allan Burmeister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Burmeister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Hughes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Åstäppa FK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Åstäppa FK may have spent more time on the ball, but Wolverhampton were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
