David Dalgren started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Z fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! FC Z:s Ronnie Hellström showed great skill when he stopped Bror Lundqvist:s penalty. With a little luck, FC Z's Ronnie Hellström got control of the ball when David Dalgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, David Dalgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kronan's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Dalgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bror Lundqvist hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Söderberg came free, but Vilhelm Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kronan's Berke Yasık got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Kronan defense, George Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Brander. The Kronan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Brander should have stopped the shot. Karl-Oskar Kinell's late challenge caught a Kronan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Kinell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Z getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Kinell hit a great ball. David Dalgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ronnie Hellström made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Söderberg was the one to do the kick off. Kronan's Bror Lundqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronnie Hellström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kronan made a substitution. Nils Mikaelsson replaced David Dalgren. Torbjörn Bergren tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ronnie Hellström. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-1 in the 64th minute. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Nils Mikaelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ronnie Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Söderberg in the 83rd minute of play. Ronnie Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Drame, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kronan's Nils Mikaelsson in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Z's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nils Mikaelsson sped through FC Z's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronnie Hellström. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Nils Mikaelsson put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronnie Hellström. FC Z's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
