Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Dalgren took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Kronan's Rolf Apelqvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rolf Apelqvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kronan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rolf Apelqvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Kronan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Djurgården IF:s goal. Du Chong Le took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes, Kronan's Bror Lundqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Du Chong Le came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kronan reached it. David Dalgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du Chong Le read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Kronan's David Dalgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Du Chong Le made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Åkerman came free, but Du Chong Le reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Ahlrot in the 30th minute. In the 45th minute, Eric Dinnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Du Chong Le, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Edvin Lindkvist to make the kick off. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 54th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves David Dalgren could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Du Chong Le however easily saved by the left post. After 62 minutes of play, Djurgården IF's Sven-Edvin Lindkvist made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Brander was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Mikaelsson got free with Du Chong Le in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 minutes Djurgården IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bror Lundqvist who took care of the corner kick. Elu Begal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Du Chong Le stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Mikaelsson's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 70 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kronan's Nils Mikaelsson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Vilhelm Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Djurgården IF got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Ahlrot. Du Chong Le made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nils Mikaelsson sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Du Chong Le managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Kronan's Nils Mikaelsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Du Chong Le took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Mikaelssons short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Du Chong Le to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vilhelm Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Van Houdtvinck in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 90th minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Djurgården IF from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Camille Drame took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Du Chong Le to make any attempt to save it. The Kronan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kronan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
