Carl Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arman Högström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Bernt Sander notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Krister Alfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Högström, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Boomerang Bombers booed when IFK Knislinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Lennartsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, IFK Knislinge's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Lundström came free, but Krister Alfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Tolsson to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Åke Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Lidberg in the 51st minute of play. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Henry Tolsson sped through IFK Knislinge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Krister Alfors. 55 minutes into the match, IFK Knislinge's goalkeeper Krister Alfors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Sundberg. The audience was convinced that Henry Tolsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krister Alfors was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After having played for 59 minutes, Henry Lidberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Knislinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Lidberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boomerang Bombers's zone, Henry Lidberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Askelöf came out of the goal and Henry Lidberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Sander, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Krister Alfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Lundström in the 66th minute of the match. Arman Högström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Krister Alfors when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernt Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. IFK Knislinge's Manfred Björkdahl was substituted for Ove Dahlkvist. In the 82nd minute Åke Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Dag Jonsson from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Krister Alfors's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arman Högström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Krister Alfors made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Boomerang Bombers's Ted Asklöv got a free kick in the 88th minute. Krister Alfors made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Henry Tolsson sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, Boomerang Bombers failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
