After a rather tough play, Stennäs FF's Per-Åke Pålsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Lars Julin made a great header on Åhus Absolut F.C's corner, it was just that Stennäs FF's Olov Strand managed to reach the ball for a save. Olov Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honu Ng, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jan-Åke Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arman Sandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arman Sandberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stennäs FF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Arman Sandberg hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Stennäs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Honu Ng came free, but Olov Strand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Stennäs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Majman came free, but Olov Strand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Stennäs FF defense, Lars Julin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Strand. The Stennäs FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Strand should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute Honu Ng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åhus Absolut F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars Julin in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Henning Lingren made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Pålsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stennäs FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åhus Absolut F.C the free kick. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Stennäs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Pålsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stennäs FF's Simon Barck was substituted for Henry Bergström. A sloppy throw-in by Herman Rosin in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Åhus Absolut F.C's Ingvar Mellin. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Vilgot Lundberg put in a rough tackle. Vilgot Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Henning Lingren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stennäs FF and the Åhus Absolut F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stennäs FF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Henning Lingren hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Leo Ström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stennäs FF's Olov Strand. Olov Strand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olov Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honu Ng, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Stennäs FF's Håkan Björklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Åke Juhlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åhus Absolut F.C's Vilhelm Berg was substituted for Ingvar Mellin. Åhus Absolut F.C's King Skott was substituted for Honu Ng. In the 75th minute of the match Stennäs FF got a corner. Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per-Åke Pålsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andréas Rudberg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 80th minute Coşkun Sehim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stennäs FF's Stefan Nordgren was substituted for Andréas Rudberg. Olov Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ström in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Åhus Absolut F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coşkun Sehim to maneuver through the defense. Herman Rosin made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Åhus Absolut F.C's Vilhelm Berg. 96 minutes into the match, Stennäs FF's goalkeeper Olov Strand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by King Skott. With a little luck, Stennäs FF's Olov Strand got control of the ball when King Skott tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Åhus Absolut F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stennäs FF.
