In the 21st minute of the match Arktis BoIS got a corner. Åmselle BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Candeias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Arktis BoIS's Rodolfo Candeias to fire away a dangerous shot which Oskar Malmgren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute Jörn Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Malmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when İlmi Akıncıbey in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. İlmi Akıncıbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Västberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Hamnberg in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes Arktis BoIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Åke Ståhlberg who took care of the corner kick. Oskar Malmgren stood somewhat misplaced when Sverker Biörkquist came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The wind increased when Arne Hamnberg made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Arktis BoIS defense, Karl-Michael Engström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Västberg. The Arktis BoIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Västberg should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, İlmi Akıncıbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arktis BoIS's supporters rose to their feet, but İlmi Akıncıbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Malmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Åmselle BF's Karl-Michael Engström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Västberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Oskar Malmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlmi Akıncıbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
