In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Ronny Tiger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Vännäsby BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Kvist to maneuver through the defense. Mario Buhrmann hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Bo Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irakliy Ozhogin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Buhrmann in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Vännäsby BF's Mario Buhrmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irakliy Ozhogin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Bufi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronny Tiger saved Vännäsby BF from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's Kim Kallstrøm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irakliy Ozhogin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 minutes Infidels F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Buhrmann who took care of the corner kick. Vännäsby BF's Staffan Bivall managed to work through Infidels F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Staffan Bivall dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 38th minute Joel Bufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Tiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni Song Kang came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronny Tiger could save by the left post. Infidels F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Venancio Sesuldo in the 42nd minute. At last the ball reached Ni Song Kang at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Vännäsby BF. 1-1. Irakliy Ozhogin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Kallstrøm in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Infidels F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Buhrmann came free, but Irakliy Ozhogin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Buhrmann to make the kick off. Ronny Tiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ni Song Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes of play, Vännäsby BF's Mario Buhrmann made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irakliy Ozhogin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Joel Bufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Tiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Kim Kallstrøm took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Irakliy Ozhogin to make any attempt to save it. Ronny Tiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ni Song Kang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Vännäsby BF's protests and gave Mario Buhrmann a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Bufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Infidels F.C's Ni Song Kang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Tiger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Vännäsby BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
