Gunnar Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Simonsson in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Roma booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Simonsson in the 9th minute of play. Gunnar Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Nord in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Nord in the 17th minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Nordstedt stood somewhat misplaced when Cesar Domingues came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. If Cristo Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Håkan Ödman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Lidberg. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Ödman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roma's goalkeeper Ingvar Nordstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roma's Ingvar Nordstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Roma from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Cesar Domingues got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ingvar Nordstedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th match minute, Mörknäs Electric Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Isac Nord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Lidberg. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Nord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 47 minutes, Peter Falck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mörknäs Electric Vikings and the Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Falck hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Domingues was the one to do the kick off. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Cesar Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg got control of the ball when Jimmy Simonsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy Simonsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunnar Lidberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Ödman in the 66th minute. Stefan Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mörknäs Electric Vikings made a substitution. Jack Ekenberg replaced Cesar Domingues. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Ekenberg in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Nordstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Roma players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
