Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sonny Perkins started the match with the kick off. Francesco Marines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Kvalfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 3 minutes into the game, Garphyttan's Michael Kvalfält nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Marines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6thth minute of the game Sonny Perkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garphyttan's Erik Skog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes, Garphyttan's Michael Kvalfält shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francesco Marines came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garphyttan reached it. After 11 minutes Quetzal Flyers Hammers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Kvalfält who took care of the corner kick. Viktor Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Francesco Marines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Perkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Bergdal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Cote to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Perkins in the 24th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Skog made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Francesco Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato de Salles in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Albäck in the 33rd minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Francesco Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garphyttan's Erik Skog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Garphyttan from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Tony Cote cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Erik Skog was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Quetzal Flyers Hammers made a substitution. Frank Lampard replaced Melker Bergdal. 54 minutes into the match, Viktor Albäck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Marines. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Albäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rähim Sterling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Francesco Marines made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Cote in the 59th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Donato de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Cote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Tony Cote sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Skog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Skog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Cote in the 70th minute of the match. Donato de Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Francesco Marines made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Tony Cote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garphyttan made a substitution. Algot Ahlfors replaced Viktor Albäck. Erik Skog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sonny Perkins's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Sonny Perkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Perkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Algot Ahlfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Marines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Marines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Bergström in the 97th minute. Garphyttan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
