Miromir Gdowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Julien Staffelbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute Albin Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Carlsson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Beckeman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasta Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jimmy Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. One of Linköpings AIK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Glentown FC:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Miguel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kent Beckeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Staffelbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Tavo Tomat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvid Carlssons short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Kent Beckeman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 65th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 69 minutes on the clock, Amanda Cabello commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 69 minutes into the game, one of Glentown FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Glentown FC:s Kent Beckeman showed great skill when he stopped Willy Witarya:s penalty. Harry Papa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harry Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Harry Papa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glentown FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 101 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Joakim Mikaelsson made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Beckeman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Linköpings AIK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Glentown FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
