The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, KS Cora's Gilbert Czekaj got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Angry Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Gaszynski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Gelacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olgierd Kosmatka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofil Marchewka having to make a save. 19 minutes into the game, Angry Eagles's Czeslaw Gaszynski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Gelacio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Benedicto Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Wlodzimierz Rosiewicz sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Gaszynski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benedicto Gelacio, 2-0. Angry Eagles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Czekaj got free with Teofil Marchewka in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Angry Eagles's Korneliusz Nienajadlo got a free kick in the 95th minute.
