Czeslaw Patora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Glozor in the 5th minute of the match. If Grzegorz Fleischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyprian Siekierka kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Pogoń Staszów getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gilbert Penczkowski hit a great ball. Walery Jandryca hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hodog's zone, Kryspin Przewozik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Czeslaw Patora came out of the goal and Kryspin Przewozik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edward Charamut fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pogoń Staszów's protests and gave Edward Charamut a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pogoń Staszów getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edward Charamut hit a great ball. If Stasio Zawada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marek Fafinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stasio Zawada was the one to do the kick off. Franciszek Gieraltowski came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hodog's Marek Fafinski. But to his dismay, Marek Fafinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Mieszko Glozor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Trac kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Zachariasz Penkalski charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachariasz Penkalski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Hodog got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Penkalski. In the 73rd minute Waldemar de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Patora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hodog booed when Pogoń Staszów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marek Fafinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hodog's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Edward Charamut scored to the left of an out of position Czeslaw Patora, making the score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Pogoń Staszów's Czeslaw Patora threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stasio Zawada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
