When Jan Hendrik Andreasson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ks.Silesia.Rybnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Hendrik Andreasson couldn't finish the play. Waclaw Wierzcholek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszko Nakonieczny went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Jurand Chwalkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Crew's protests and gave Jurand Chwalkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Jurand Chwalkiewicz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ks.Silesia.Rybnik booed when Blue Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Falk didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pankracy Dranka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Blue Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Kordalewski to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Ks.Silesia.Rybnik's Juliusz Kaczanek in action when he in the 30th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Ks.Silesia.Rybnik's Jan Misiewicz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Ks.Silesia.Rybnik's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Falk came free, but Ksawery Cwenar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksander Falk made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ks.Silesia.Rybnik's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Falk came free, but Ksawery Cwenar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Emil Golembiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Cwenar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, one of Blue Crew:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blue Crew. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Ks.Silesia.Rybnik's Juliusz Kaczanek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Waclaw Wierzcholek. If Zbyszko Nakonieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Golembiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Cwenar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Hendrik Andreasson could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Waclaw Wierzcholek however easily saved by the left post. Blue Crew's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Jan Hendrik Andreasson scored to the left of an out of position Waclaw Wierzcholek, making the score, 2-3. When Zbyszko Nakonieczny came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ks.Silesia.Rybnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Nakonieczny couldn't finish the play. Ks.Silesia.Rybnik were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Blue Crew's much stronger midfield.
