After 3 minutes of play, LZS Mechnice's Pankracy Sniegowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pawel Czerniejewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zygmunt Poteralski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Ikalewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to LZS Mechnice getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lucjan Cymbal hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pankracy Sniegowski in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Czerniejewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pawel Czerniejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Kieca, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Zbyszko Giec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincenty Ikalewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zygmunt Poteralski having to make a save. The supporters of Brodniczka booed when LZS Mechnice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Chlapowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beniamin Dytrych struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Zygmunt Poteralski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brodniczka. After a defensive mix-up in Brodniczka's zone, Pankracy Sniegowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Czerniejewski came out of the goal and Pankracy Sniegowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Beniamin Dytrych notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LZS Mechnice's Zygmunt Poteralski. Zygmunt Poteralski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Dante's late challenge caught a Brodniczka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Dante helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 51 minutes, Brodniczka's Andrzej Knopek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zygmunt Poteralski. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wincenty Ikalewicz made a kick off. Zygmunt Poteralski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Dytrych in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Zbyszko Giec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Poteralski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brodniczka's Wincenty Ikalewicz in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LZS Mechnice's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Beniamin Dytrych managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brodniczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beniamin Dytrych was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zygmunt Poteralski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Ikalewicz in the 76th minute of the match. Beniamin Dytrych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LZS Mechnice's Zbyszek Bejrut was substituted for Pankracy Sniegowski. Thanks to some nice moves Feliciano Peyo could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Pawel Czerniejewski however easily saved by the left post. Pawel Czerniejewski was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Marian Kieca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marian Kieca really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. LZS Mechnice's Jan Rzeszutko was substituted for Napoleon Arnista. 101 minutes into the game, Wincenty Ikalewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brodniczka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LZS Mechnice the free kick. A collision led to Brodniczka getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Wincenty Ikalewicz hit a great ball.
