Boleslaw Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Manchon in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Widzew Łódz's zone, Viktor Näfver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boleslaw Ruszkowski came out of the goal and Viktor Näfver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Widzew Łódz's Boleslaw Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salim Manchon in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Widzew Łódz's Manfredo Bastos threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wasyl Walaszkiewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wasyl Walaszkiewicz to make the kick off. Boleslaw Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Manchon in the 84th minute of play. Teobald Gdowski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Grzegorz Podowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Ruszkowski having to interfere. LKS Dąb Dębieńsko's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
