Przemyslaw Piechna charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Gonzalo Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 minutes of play, Real Madrid's Dariusz Ludwiczak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Dudkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonzalo Feliu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mieszko Dudkowski. Mieszko Dudkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edward Gierlach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Leonard Dumberger made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dariusz Ludwiczak made a kick off. Dariusz Ludwiczak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Mieszko Dudkowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Real Madrid's Gonzalo Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dariusz Ludwiczak during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mieszko Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mieszko Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Ludwiczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Iwan Turok could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Mieszko Dudkowski made a huge save. In the 76th minute Edward Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Dumberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tytus Szkarpiak's late challenge caught a Real Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tytus Szkarpiak helped the player get up and apologised. Tytus Szkarpiak kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Waldemar Tusk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mieszko Dudkowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mieszko Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Ludwiczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Gonzalo Feliu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mieszko Dudkowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Real Madrid's Fabian Makomaski got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Feliu got free with Mieszko Dudkowski in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
