The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Witold Zagrobelny made a precise shot to the right of Eugeniusz Sawicki. Kolonia SSA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Robert Kiewra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Kaczeniak in the 8th minute. Robert Kiewra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Miazga in the 19th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Wir SA's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Miazga came free, but Robert Kiewra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz in the 33rd minute of play forced Kolonia SSA's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Sawicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Ulryk Gdowik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milosz Miazga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Robert Kiewra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Dudek in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugeniusz Sawicki saved Kolonia SSA from getting behind. When Iwan Haszczak came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Wir SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Haszczak couldn't finish the play. Eugeniusz Sawicki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Dudek went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Kolonia SSA's zone, Ulryk Gdowik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Sawicki came out of the goal and Ulryk Gdowik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Robert Kiewra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Miazga in the 67th minute of play. If Ulryk Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Wir SA's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Kaczeniak came free, but Robert Kiewra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ulryk Gdowik came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Wir SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulryk Gdowik couldn't finish the play. Marian Dudek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Dudek scored 0-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugeniusz Sawicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulryk Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eugeniusz Sawicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Dudek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Eugeniusz Sawicki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Kolonia SSA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Janusz Kaczeniak hit a great ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolonia SSA's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Sawicki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cyprian Wojtowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
