Florian Zalipski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacy Trela during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 9th minute of the match Ignacy Trela completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ignacy Trela a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Zalipski in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witomir Mazierski saved Drengfurth from getting behind. The supporters of ZUH Andrzej Zadroga booed when Drengfurth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Furlit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Izydor Grabowicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witomir Mazierski skillfully saved the ball. When Jacek Rekawiczka fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's protests and gave Jacek Rekawiczka a yellow card for diving instead. Jacek Rekawiczka hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Smolak got free with Jerzy Jaszynski in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes ZUH Andrzej Zadroga got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Malicki. Roman Kornasiewicz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's Florian Zalipski in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drengfurth's goalie prevented a goal. Florian Zalipski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Witomir Mazierski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Zalipski to make the kick off. The throw-in from Wincent Literski in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's Jedrzej Furgat. In the 52ndth minute of the game Florian Zalipski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drengfurth's Witomir Mazierski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tadeusz Malicki fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's protests and gave Tadeusz Malicki a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeusz Malicki kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ZUH Andrzej Zadroga defense, Roland Smolak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Jaszynski. The ZUH Andrzej Zadroga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Jaszynski should have stopped the shot. After 71 minutes, Leon Czerniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZUH Andrzej Zadroga and the Drengfurth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes ZUH Andrzej Zadroga got a freekick which was hit by Leon Czerniak. ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's Jerzy Jaszynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Tomiczek in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Smolak in the 79th minute of play forced ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's goalkeeper Jerzy Jaszynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led ZUH Andrzej Zadroga's Izydor Grabowicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Witomir Mazierski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Drengfurth's Witomir Mazierski got control of the ball when Florian Zalipski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Zalipski got free with Witomir Mazierski in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Florian Zalipski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Witomir Mazierski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Drengfurth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ZUH Andrzej Zadroga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
