In the 24th minute, Rybieniec's Edmund Watarz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wincenty Duda. Wincenty Duda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Stasio Awizo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stasio Awizo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Awizo to maneuver through the defense. When Lucjan Biegun fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Warszawa's protests and gave Lucjan Biegun a yellow card for diving instead. Legia Warszawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 54 played minutes Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Dzerwucki. After some careless play in the Legia Warszawa defense, Zygmunt Maurycy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Duda. The Legia Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Duda should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rybieniec's goalkeeper Tomasz Tuliszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Rybieniec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Watarz to maneuver through the defense. Cyprian Piczak's late challenge caught a Legia Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiktor Olejasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Tuliszewski having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Wiktor Olejasz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Tuliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Wincent Dranka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Dzerwucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rybieniec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Legia Warszawa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
