In the 2nd match minute, Ropki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Zecman to maneuver through the defense. Jurand Kluczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Kluczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Jurand Kluczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Eugeniusz Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Rykaczewski in the 12th minute of play. Marcin Raszkiewicz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugeniusz Kicia. Eugeniusz Kicia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ropki's attentive Lukasz Rykaczewski managed to snatch the ball when Amadeo Emesto made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Bernard Okopny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teobald Makowski. Ropki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute, Artur Mnich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Eugeniusz Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Dobrowski in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Raszkiewicz came free, but Eugeniusz Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Kicia came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ropki's Lukasz Rykaczewski. But to his dismay, Lukasz Rykaczewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Lukasz Rykaczewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ropki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 46 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Rykaczewski came free, but Eugeniusz Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Raszkiewicz in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Damian Dubiel hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Bury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Makowski having to interfere. Eugeniusz Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Raszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Adam Pryla's late challenge caught a Ropki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Pryla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Adam Pryla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Lech Dylla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugeniusz Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Raszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ropki's goalkeeper Teobald Makowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Marcin Raszkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Amadeo Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Raszkiewicz got free with Eugeniusz Kicia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Raszkiewicz in the 83rd minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Lech Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Makowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Lukasz Rykaczewski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Piotr Misiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Makowski having to interfere. Piotr Misiewicz took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobald Makowski. Teobald Makowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 96th minute Lech Dobrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ropki played a much better game than Zawisza Bydgoszcz and deserved their victory. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
