An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Jaszyna in the 35th minute of play forced Young Boys Mikolow's goalkeeper Elia Amicone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Georg Götz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Young Boys Mikolow and the Górnicy z Łęcznej players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juliusz Tomaka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Elia Amicone made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Górnicy z Łęcznej was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Gerlach to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teofil Jaszyna made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Pawel Zarobski took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Sylwester Gorzkiewicz to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Young Boys Mikolow getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Arkadiusz Pieprz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Teofil Jaszyna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Górnicy z Łęcznej's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofil Jaszyna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Amicone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Górnicy z Łęcznej's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pawel Zarobski 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Zbyszek Niedbalski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of Górnicy z Łęcznej:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
