A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, ac krzykub's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Czeszyk came free, but Boleslaw Mierzwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Iwan Lato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Siembab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute D.C. United were awarded a corner. Tolek Gotfryd went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tolek Gotfryd almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ac krzykub's Boleslaw Mierzwa did a great save. D.C. United's Roman Siembab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Lato in the 36th minute of play. If Daniel Czeszyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Tyski during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Czeszyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Boleslaw Mierzwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mieszko Fleischer to make the kick off. Boleslaw Mierzwa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mieszko Fleischer went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 68 minutes of play, ac krzykub's Iwan Lato made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Siembab was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mieszko Fleischer might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boleslaw Mierzwa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mieszko Fleischer ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in D.C. United's zone, Gustaw Mondrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Siembab came out of the goal and Gustaw Mondrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Lato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Roman Siembab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. D.C. United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tolek Gotfryd in the 86th minute. The corner led D.C. United's Tolek Gotfryd to fire away a dangerous shot which Boleslaw Mierzwa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mieszko Fleischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustaw Mondrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
