Niewiadów SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Zieba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Domala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Gulbien's Alfred Juzda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugeniusz Lato. Eugeniusz Lato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dominik Puzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugeniusz Lato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Nakonieczny in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Niewiadów SSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gulbien.
