Piotr Blicharz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Evseev in the 6th minute of play. If Andrey Evseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Patrylo's late challenge caught a Sparta Kraków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Patrylo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sparta Kraków's Boleslaw Domamir got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Tobiasz Miarka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nysa Krosnowice's Piotr Blicharz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Tobiasz Miarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Blicharz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sparta Kraków's Andrey Evseev in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nysa Krosnowice's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Sparta Kraków getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Pawel Skikiewicz hit a great ball. The supporters of Sparta Kraków booed when Nysa Krosnowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Gruchacz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nysa Krosnowice's zone, Eugeniusz Zuraw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Blicharz came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Zuraw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tobiasz Miarka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nysa Krosnowice's Piotr Blicharz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nysa Krosnowice's Piotr Blicharz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Evseev in the 44th minute of play. Hugon Damazki was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Codruț Basarabescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Codruț Basarabescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ulf Eklund made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ulf Eklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nysa Krosnowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Zuraw had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piotr Blicharz. Nysa Krosnowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Zuraw was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sparta Kraków's zone, Filip Patrylo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Damazki came out of the goal and Filip Patrylo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piotr Blicharz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Evseev, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ulf Eklund scored 3-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugon Damazki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 77 played minutes Nysa Krosnowice got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Basarabescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobiasz Miarka got free with Piotr Blicharz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Nysa Krosnowice's Rafal Karaszkiewicz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Nysa Krosnowice's Jacek Wietrzychowski was substituted for Jaroslaw Miecznikowski. In the 83rd match minute, Nysa Krosnowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Karaszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugon Damazki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Patrylo in the 92nd minute of play forced Sparta Kraków's goalkeeper Hugon Damazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Sparta Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Eklund came free, but Hugon Damazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Blicharz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Evseev in the 97th minute of play. Sparta Kraków's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
