Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Odachowski in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Scislowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Herbert Odachowski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gottken SA's Alfred Scislowicz. Alfred Scislowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute Herbert Odachowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Scislowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Barys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorzuchówek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gottken SA the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Gorzuchówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Barys to maneuver through the defense. If Herbert Odachowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Witalis Fiszer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Scislowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Odachowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Scislowicz having to interfere. When Herbert Odachowski came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Gorzuchówek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Odachowski couldn't finish the play. The Gottken SA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gorzuchówek were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Piekarczyk to make the kick off. When Gorzuchówek's Herbert Odachowski in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gottken SA's Alfred Scislowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Odachowski in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gottken SA's zone, Witalis Fiszer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Scislowicz came out of the goal and Witalis Fiszer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Odachowski in the 71st minute of play forced Gottken SA's goalkeeper Alfred Scislowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witalis Fiszer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gottken SA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Buczak was slow to take the kick. During this time Gorzuchówek's players had a chance to rest. Alfred Buczak made a great header on Gorzuchówek's corner, it was just that Gottken SA's Alfred Scislowicz managed to reach the ball for a save. Witalis Fiszer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Scislowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Gorzuchówek booed when Gottken SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Wiater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gorzuchówek's Witalis Fiszer got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Odachowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Scislowicz having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Gottken SA's goalkeeper Alfred Scislowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witalis Fiszer.
