In the 10th minute Ademir de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Ziombkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Dziewulski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Kiekskiejmy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tinko Lazarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Tinko Lazarov made the kick off in the second half. AZS Bydgoszcz's Beniamin Pincoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tinko Lazarov in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Tinko Lazarov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Beniamin Pincoski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wladyslaw Bialakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Tinko Lazarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademir de Toledo got free with Zbyszek Ziombkowski in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as AZS Bydgoszcz's Bernard Dziewulski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszek Ziombkowski. That made the score 1-4 after 70 minutes of play. Kiekskiejmy made a substitution. Waldemar Cebula replaced Witold Haszczak. If Tinko Lazarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Ademir de Toledo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zbyszek Ziombkowski, 1-5. In the 82nd minute of the match, Bernard Dziewulski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zbyszek Ziombkowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zbyszek Ziombkowski came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by AZS Bydgoszcz's Ademir de Toledo. But to his dismay, Ademir de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Kiekskiejmy's Konrad Matuch was substituted for Jacek Walczak. Bernard Dziewulski might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszek Ziombkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernard Dziewulski ran back to his position shaking his head. Zbyszek Ziombkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Dziewulski in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tinko Lazarov in the 98th minute of play forced AZS Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Beniamin Pincoski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AZS Bydgoszcz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
