In the 4thth minute of the game Aleksander Bochynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bełchatów's Conrado Curcio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th match minute, Szemrowice SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jedrzej Sobania to maneuver through the defense. Barnaba Bakes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miroslaw Plaski. The supporters of Szemrowice SSA booed when Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Oleszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksander Bochynski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Curcio having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Bejrut got free with Barnaba Bakes in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnaba Bakes was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Wiliam Lucas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wiliam Lucas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Barnaba Bakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Bejrut in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Bochynski in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Curcio saved Bełchatów from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Plaski to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Gilbert Bury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Wiliam Lucas took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Barnaba Bakes to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Szemrowice SSA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Andrzej Juszkowski hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Janusz Cwojdak made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Wiliam Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Bakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Curcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Bochynski's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Radomir Bejrut fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bełchatów's protests and gave Radomir Bejrut a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Bejrut to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Bochynski got free with Conrado Curcio in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Conrado Curcio managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Szemrowice SSA's Aleksander Bochynski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 76th minute, Jedrzej Sobania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szemrowice SSA's Korneliusz Przybyciel was substituted for Klement Wieloch. Jedrzej Sobania kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Janusz Cwojdak made a precise shot to the right of Barnaba Bakes. Szemrowice SSA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The Szemrowice SSA fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Szemrowice SSA's Aleksander Bochynski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Szemrowice SSA made a substitution. Walery Skrzypiec replaced Tanek Pieprz. In the 93rd minute of the match, Aleksander Bochynski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Conrado Curcio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Szemrowice SSA's Conrado Curcio threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aleksander Bochynski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Walery Skrzypiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Conrado Curcio made a huge save. There was no doubt that Bełchatów were the better team. Bełchatów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
